Ever feel limited with the rollups that come out of the box with Salesforce? Do your users ever want to report on the number of activities on an account or the most recent campaign a contact participated in? With Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries (DLRS), you can rollup and summarize anything!
This hands-on session will focus on Declarative Lookup Rollup Summaries (DLRS), a free, open source app from the Salesforce Commons program. DLRS provides an admin-friendly declarative interface to generate and manage cross-object rollup summaries in your Salesforce org.
Community members from the product team will walk attendees through creating a rollup including best practices and mode definitions using the newly redesigned wizard user interface. Then we will walk through tips and tricks for writing SOQL-based relationship criteria and scheduling multiple rollups in a day. And finally we will deep dive into some unique ways to use DLRS including concatenating text fields and even creating roll ups without a relationship field. No matter your experience with DLRS – everyone will learn something new in this session.
