Midwest Dreamin’ is a community led, community ran event. Organized by the following regional User Group leaders who had a dream to bring a ‘Super User Group’ with marquee quality speakers to the Midwest for learning and networking.
Here are some of our favorite quotes from past events:
Eric has been in the Salesforce ecosystem since 2009. In 2010 he started the Southern Indiana Salesforce User Group, now called the Evansville, IN Administrators Group. In 2011, he organized the very first Midwest Dreamin’, where 100 Salesforce enthusiasts descended upon Louisville for a full day of Salesforce community learning. Eric has been named a Salesforce MVP every year since 2013. He has spoken at Dreamforce in 2013, 2014, 2016 through 2019, and has organized a Dreamforce Breakfast for Newbies since 2012 as a fundraising event for Project Night Night.

Nick has been a Salesforce user since 2009. Starting as an accidental admin for Students Today Leaders Forever based out of Minneapolis, he quickly helped co-found the Twin Cities Nonprofit Salesforce User Group in 2010. Nick likes to believe if you can dream it, you can do it in Salesforce. At Dreamforce 2014, he took that to heart presenting how he created an app called DragForce to track his passion outside of work – drag racing an ’85 Camaro. Nick has been an MVP since 2015 and holds 4 certifications.
Jim has been building software for over 25 years and is a software development leader at Consilio. He is an advocate for cloud technologies and is happy to be part of this wonderful community!
Leyna has been in the Salesforce ecosystem, almost from the very beginning, becoming an accidental admin in 2002. A 9x Salesforce MVP, she was welcomed into the Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame in March 2020. Leyna is the former Leader of the Twin Cities Salesforce User Group (2008-2015) and was among the First 500 Salesforce users to hold a Salesforce Certification. Leyna has attended Dreamforce 15 times in person and 3 times virtually. She was a speaker at Dreamforce from 2010-2018 and was the Content Manager for Midwest Dreamin’ in 2014, 2015, 2022, 2023 and now her final year – 2024. Although Leyna has been located in Ft. Myers, FL for the past 5 years, she still considers the Twin Cities her Salesforce home and is happy to be a part of the MWD team!
While Michelle became an #AccidentalAdmin in 2013, she discovered the Salesforce Community in 2018 and hasn’t looked back! A 2-time MVP, Michelle is passionate about helping the next generation of trailblazers succeed and is thrilled to join the planning committee for Midwest Dreamin (which was her first Dreamin event)!
